Jenny Holsinger, Home Watch Professional Team Member

Jenny Holsinger was born and raised in Northern Virginia, and has witnessed many changes in the housing market in both Fairfax and Loudoun counties throughout the years. She knows the area inside out! After graduating from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA with a degree in Education, she taught in private schools for seven years.

Combining her past work and life experience with specific Home Watch training and a working familiarity with home systems, Jenny provides exceptional service and attention to detail when caring for our clients’ homes.

Jenny understands the meaning of home. “A home may be someone’s greatest investment, but it’s also the place where special memories are made,” she said. As a trusted member of the Golden Rule Team, you can count on Jenny to care for your home with the utmost vigilance.

Yvonne Douglas, Home Watch Professional Team Member

Yvonne Douglas originates from Rochester, New York and returned to that area following college to teach junior high school and high school Spanish for three years. She then joined the U.S. Coast Guard and served for eight years as an officer in San Juan, Puerto Rico and the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

She fulfilled various roles in the Coast Guard while providing support to the Greater Antilles Section in Puerto Rico, including serving as an International liaison, working as a Sector Leader in recruiting, and as a Senior Watch Officer in Intelligence where she held a top-secret clearance.

Working with clients in the Northern Virginia/Washington D.C. suburbs, security is a big concern, and Yvonne is certainly an asset to the Golden Rule Team and the services we provide.

Home Watch Training

Both team members were required to undergo comprehensive Home Watch training, and are bonded and insured for our clients’ protection and peace of mind. They are also required to have a working knowledge of home systems, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems in order to spot issues should one occur.

Golden Rule Home Watch & Concierge is an Accredited Member of the National Home Watch Association, and is a NHWA Certified Home Watch Professional. We are excited to be able to grow our business to offer more homeowners throughout Northern Virginia the benefit of Home Watch services.

When you will be absent from your home for a period of time, you’ll want a Home Watch Professional to monitor it while you’re away. We will perform a standard checklist of interior and exterior checks, with an electric report delivered to you following each visit. Concierge-type services are also available upon request.
